Job summary

GOLDEN PANTRY FOOD STORES INC. seeks a Store Manager to recruit, train, supervise, and motivate store personnel per district plans. You will manage staffing, scheduling, and performance to meet customer needs and payroll goals while promoting company campaigns and maintaining product availability.

You will develop team members, ensure compliance with policies, and oversee inventory, safety, and service standards to deliver on the store's mission.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 of retail sales experience required; 2 years of retail management preferred.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead by example.
• Superior customer service skills.
• Basic math skills sufficient to complete orders, calculate inventory, and manage cash registers.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and hire store personnel according to district plans.
• Train and develop staff; supervise and motivate team.
• Create labor schedules balancing customer needs, operations, and payroll.
• Ensure employees have necessary skills and performance levels.
• Develop employees to potentially assume Store Manager duties.
• Enact promotional campaigns and ensure service promises are met.
• Open store and ensure products and services are available during hours.
• Order stock and merchandise per plan; manage food service operations.
