Southern States Cooperative, Inc. seeks an experienced store operations leader to assist the Retail Store Manager in overseeing daily activities at a local farm supply/retail facility. You will drive sales, manage inventory, merchandising, scheduling, and customer service to meet SSC goals.

The role requires 3+ years in agribusiness with at least 1 year in leadership, a valid driver's license, and the ability to travel 10-20% of the time. This position supports SSC's mission and safety standards.

Qualificações

• 3+ years of related agribusiness/retail experience with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; Associate's degree from select programs considered with specialization in agronomy, plant science, business, or related field.
• Valid Driver's License required; other certifications may be needed (Forklift, CDL/hazmat, petroleum/propane) depending on location.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate with Retail Store Manager to execute an operations plan aligning service, sales and inventory goals.
• Oversee daily operations and front-end/POS support; manage merchandising and inventory integrity.
• Develop and coach a team; create staff schedules and lead daily team meetings.
• Engage with customers to take orders and promote SSC brand in the local community.
• Oversee hiring, performance reviews, and adherence to SSC policies and regulations.
