Job summary

ALO is seeking an Operations Associate in New York to support store profitability and efficiency. The role collaborates with the Operations & Visual Management team to complete tasks, manage inventory, and uphold visual standards on the sales floor.

Responsibilities include handling shipments, replenishment, floor sets, and process improvements, while delivering exceptional guest experiences and contributing to a safe, high-performing store environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a client-centric, sales & operational environment
• Requires constant movement in and around all areas of the store
• Ability to lift, push, carry or move up to 50 pounds
• Ability to lift, bend, kneel, climb, crawl and twist, and safely climb up/down a ladder
• Ability to stand and move for an entire shift
• Passion for customer service and delivering exceptional experiences
• Self-motivated with a desire to achieve results and excel individually and as a team
• Aligns with and embodies ALO’s Guiding Principles

Responsibilities

• Execute inventory management processes to maximize inventory accuracy and reduce shrink
• Investigate inventory accuracy issues and partner with the General/Store Manager to improve processes or systems
• Support shipment, receiving, processing, reverse transfers, floor replenishment, floor set updates and supply management
• Maintain and champion strong visual standards for the sales floor
• Collaborate with reporting, budgets, expenses, inventory control, vendor relations, technology and facilities to maximize operations
• Support a safe work environment and efficient operation through stockroom standards
• Move dynamically on the retail floor to meet business and guest needs
• Execute operations-focused directives with the Operations & Visual Management team
• Assist in processing shipment and ensure product flow including visual merchandising and replenishment
• Use metrics to support business-driving strategies
• Resolve client needs quickly and ensure customer satisfaction
• Identify product concerns and communicate inventory needs
• Duties require movement around store and back of house; perform other tasks as needed to keep store efficient and inviting
