CubeSmart Self-Storage is seeking a Store Operations Manager to oversee daily store activities, customer service, and maintenance. You will rent units, process payments, manage invoices, and maintain safety and cleanliness while meeting sales goals.

We value a positive, outgoing personality, reliability, basic computer skills, and the ability to work Saturdays. Access to a vehicle and a valid license are required; sponsorship is not offered.

Responsabilidades

• Develop customer relationships by identifying self-storage needs and providing appropriate solutions while delivering a standout customer experience.
• Interact face to face with customers, provide excellent service, and build rapport.
• Meet monthly sales goals and metrics.
• Walk the property to perform daily operational tasks including lock checks and showing units to customers.
• Rent self-storage spaces, sell store merchandise, manage leasing, accept payments via POS, complete daily bank deposits, and follow up on late payments.
• Manage invoice review and approval within the database and process invoices.
• Oversee store budget, supplies, and retail inventory.
• Maintain a clean, safe facility and ensure compliance with company guidelines.

In your role at CubeSmart Self-Storage, you will be required to manage and maintain your property. This includes skills in both customer service and property maintenance.

The Store Operations Manager is responsible for:

Customer Service

• Developing customer relationships by identifying self-storage needs and providing appropriate solutions while delivering a standout customer experience.

• Interacting face to face with customers, providing excellent service, and building rapport.
• Meeting monthly sales goals and metrics.
• Walking the property to perform daily operational tasks including lock checks and showing units to customers.
• Working both independently and on a team renting self-storage spaces, selling store merchandise, managing the leasing process, accepting payments utilizing our Point-of-Sale System (POS), completing daily bank deposits, and making courtesy calls to customers regarding late payments.
• Managing the invoice review and approval responsibilities within database.
• Processing invoices, managing reports and legal process of auctions.
• Overseeing the store’s expense budget while maintaining store supplies and retail inventory.

Property Maintenance

• Physical requirements include daily walks of the property, cleaning the units and the store grounds, opening, and closing of the storage doors (up to 50 lbs.)
• Maintaining facility which includes mopping, sweeping, changing light bulbs, cleaning out storage units, and similar activities.
• Keeping a clean and safe storage facility to ensure conditions meet company guidelines (i.e., clean restrooms, neat landscaping and parking areas, storage doors that are clean and tidy, and neat decluttered office space.)

• Access to a personal vehicle, a valid driver’s license, and up-to-date insurance are required.
• While performing the duties of this job, you will be frequently required to stand, sit, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, climb or balance on a ladder.
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for current or future sponsorship.

*Some locations may require Sunday hours.
