Job summary

GPM Investments, LLC is hiring a Store Manager for Store 4766 in Kinston, NC. You will lead 8–15 teammates, own store operations, and drive sales while delivering exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of store operations, team, and performance.
• Lead and inspire a team of 8–15 employees across all shifts.
• Be the go-to person for coverage; available for any shift, including evenings, overnights, weekends and holidays.
• Perform duties of store employees: run the register, stock, upsell, clean restrooms, and maintain lot and fuel pumps.
• Coach team members to deliver excellent service and upsell promotions and key items.
• Recruit, hire, and train new team members, focusing on growth and teamwork.
• Manage inventory, vendor orders, deliveries, and merchandising.
• Handle banking and cash deposits with valid license, transport and insurance.
• Maintain high standards for safety, cleanliness, food safety, and customer satisfaction.
• Control expenses and labor hours while achieving store sales goals.
• Execute all company programs and marketing initiatives.
• Be willing to cross-train and step in to manage deli or QSR operations when necessary.

What You'll Do:

Qualifications

• A valid driver's licence, access to a personal vehicle, and proof of insurance (required for bank deposits).
• Retail or food management experience preferred.
• Willingness to lead by example in all aspects of store operations, including cleaning, upselling, and frontline service.
• Strong communication skills, integrity, and decisiveness.
• Minimum age requirement: 21+ years old
• Certification: Must have (or be able to obtain obtain) a Food Safety Certification

The pay range listed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum rate for the position. Actual starting pay will vary based on factors such as relevant experience, skills, and the shift for which the candidate is hired.

This Store Manager role is a salary position requiring a minimum of 52 hours per week.
