Job summary

GPM Investments, Mountain, WI, is seeking a Store Manager to lead daily store operations and a team of 8–15 associates. You’ll be responsible for driving sales, managing inventory and ensuring safety and excellent customer service. This hourly role requires open availability across all shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of store operations, team, and performance.
• Lead 8–15 employee team across shifts.
• Cover all shifts including evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays.
• Run the register, stock, upsell, clean facilities, and maintain lot and pumps.
• Coach team to deliver excellent service and upsell promotions.
• Recruit, hire and train new team members.
• Manage inventory, vendor orders, deliveries and merchandising.
• Handle banking and deposits with proper credentials.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and customer satisfaction.
• Control expenses and labor hours while hitting sales goals.
• Execute company programs and marketing initiatives.
• Cross-train and step in to manage deli or QSR when needed.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

• Take full ownership of your store's operations, team, and performance.
• Lead and inspire a team of 8-15 employees across all shifts.
• Be the go-to person when coverage is needed - you'll typically work days but must be available for any shift, including evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays.
• Perform all duties of store employees including running the register, stocking, upselling, cleaning restrooms, and maintaining the lot and fuel pumps.
• Coach team members to deliver excellent service and actively upsell promotions and key items.
• Recruit, hire, and train new team members, focusing on growth, accountability, and teamwork.
• Manage inventory, vendor orders, deliveries, and merchandising.
• Handle all banking and cash deposits- must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and insurance.
• Maintain high standards for safety, cleanliness, food safety, and customer satisfaction.
• Control expenses and labor hours while achieving store sales goals.
• Execute all company programs and marketing initiatives.
• Be willing to take on anything the store needs-including cross-training and stepping in to manage deli or QSR operations when necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Open availability with the ability to work any shift as needed, especially to cover unexpected call-outs.
• A valid driver's license, access to a personal vehicle, and proof of insurance (required for bank deposits).
• Retail or food management experience preferred.
• Willingness to lead by example in all aspects of store operations, including cleaning, upselling, and frontline service.
• Strong communication skills, integrity, and decisiveness.
• Minimum age requirement: 21+ years old
• Certification: Must have (or be able to obtain obtain) a Food Safety Certification

Compensation & Benefits Disclosure

The pay range listed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum rate for the position. Actual starting pay will vary based on factors such as relevant experience, skills, and the shift for which the candidate is hired.

This Store Manager role is an hourly position requiring a minimum of 45 hours per week; the annual compensation reflects a base hourly wage for 40 hours and overtime pay for all hours worked beyond 40 each week
