• Document the why, not just the what, behind every Networking decision
• Write the Networking runbook the next hire wishes they had
• Make general tradeoffs visible so ViacomCBS can weigh them
• Track key metrics and report findings to your manager each week
• Chase down the root cause instead of slapping on a patch
• Read a Prioritization system you didn't build and improve it anyway
• Make the service-minded call when the data points two different directions
