The Assistant Store Manager works with the Store Manager and serves as a Leader on Duty, ensuring safety, efficiency, and adherence to company standards while coaching and developing associates for growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of retail management or leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager with the overall operation and performance of the retail store.
• Lead on Duty, taking ownership of store operations during assigned shifts.
• Lead, coach, motivate, and develop associates to achieve company expectations and performance goals.
• Model exceptional customer service and ensure associates provide a positive customer experience.
• Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and professional store environment.
• Ensure merchandise is properly stocked, organized, displayed, and priced accurately.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with receiving, stocking, replenishment, and merchandise presentation.

• Assist with training new associates and providing ongoing coaching and feedback.
• Help identify opportunities to improve sales, productivity, customer service, and overall store performance.
• Communicate effectively with store leadership and associates regarding business priorities and operational needs.

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Store Manager to join our high-performing retail team. The Assistant Store Manager is a key member of the store leadership team, responsible for supporting daily operations, delivering an exceptional customer experience, and leading, coaching, and developing associates.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Assistant Store Manager, Department Manager, Store Manager, Retail Supervisor, Operations Manager, or similar leadership role preferred.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop a team.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, associates, and leadership.
• Ability to work independently while also functioning effectively as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Open availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and move throughout the store for extended periods.
• Ability to intermittently lift, push, and/or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to bend, kneel, climb, crawl, twist, and safely use ladders.
• Ability and willingness to become certified to operate a forklift in accordance with company safety requirements.

Schedule

The position offers an hourly wage based on location, knowledge, skills, education, and experience, along with eligibility for a monthly bonus opportunity.
