Job summary

Murphy USA Inc. is seeking a Store Manager in Garland, Texas to deliver a best-in-class customer experience while leading all facets of a fast-paced retail operation. You will coach and develop your team, manage expenses, oversee inventory and promotions, and drive sales.

Qualifications

• At least one of: Bachelor's Degree, 1 year of continuous store/retail management experience, or 2 years of continuous Assistant Store Manager or Supervisor experience.

• Maintain an operational excellence mindset to manage expenses, drive sales growth and promotions, manage orders and inventory, schedule shifts, and exceed company metrics.
• Support rollouts of company initiatives and reach store-level and district goals.

• Stock, clean, operate the register and perform any other duties as needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Our store managers are the backbone of our teams and keep us united. While leading your team to greatness, you'll have the autonomy to run your own small business by:

Hiring, training and developing your team to grow with us - assume the role of a coach and mentor to your team, guiding them toward success and development

Maintaining a proactive operational excellence mindset to efficiently manage operation expenses, drive sales growth and promotional activities, manage product orders and inventory, schedule shifts, conduct surveys and continuously strive to exceed company metrics

Supporting rollouts of company initiatives and reaching store-level and district goals

Helping your team by demonstrating best-in-class customer service when assisting customers

Stocking, cleaning, working the cash register and any other additional duties, as needed

REQUIREMENTS:

Must be 18+ years of age, 19 in Indiana, 20 in Kentucky and 21 in Alabama, Arkansas, Colorado, Illinois, Kansas, Mississippi, New Mexico, Tennessee, and Utah

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Must have at least ONE of the following:

Bachelor's Degree

One year of continuous store or retail management experience

Two years of continuous Assistant Store Manager or Supervisor experience
