Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. is seeking a Store Manager in Augusta, GA to lead a multi-million-dollar operation and drive sales while modeling Burlington's values. You’ll mentor and coach the team, deliver a world-class shopping experience, and own day-to-day merchandising, operations and service management.

The role demands strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with responsibility for staffing, budgeting, and cross-functional partnerships across the district and region.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Retail Management experience in a Big Box or Specialty environment.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift and move boxes weighing up to 40 lbs.
• Experience using scheduling and reporting computer software.
• Travel may be required from time to time.

Responsibilities

• Direct management and oversight of Assistant Managers, Supervisors, and Store Associates to ensure policy and initiative implementation.
• Ensure managers and team members fulfill responsibilities.
• Partner with Merchandising and Operations to coordinate merchandise placement, promotions, and pricing.
• Manage inventory accuracy through receiving, transfers, RTVs, and chargebacks.
• Act as Manager on Duty; lead by example and follow Burlington SOPs.
• Oversee multi-million-dollar sales and expenses budgeting and reporting.
• Recruit, screen, and hire associates to meet staffing needs.
• Onboard and train new associates; provide ongoing coaching and development.
• Handle personnel and associate relations issues.
• Manage payroll budget, workforce planning, and scheduling.
• Foster communication among store, district, regional teams, and partners.
