Skechers is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in California to support the Management Team across operations and team leadership. You will drive daily store performance, inspire a team, and ensure seamless customer service delivery, while managing inventory, merchandising, and strategic sales initiatives to boost profitability.

Flexibility to work weekends/evenings is required; advance in Skechers' global network with competitive pay and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Experience in sales leadership roles in retail, restaurant, or hospitality is preferred but not required.
• Sales skills to drive revenue growth and meet targets.
• Excellent communication skills in written, verbal and interpersonal communication.

Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Mentor, coach, and motivate employees to achieve sales goals and deliver excellent customer service.
• Visual Merchandising: Ensure displays and store layouts meet high standards for style and innovation.
• Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels and organize restocking for a seamless shopping experience.
• Operations Management: Oversee scheduling, opening/closing procedures, and store operations; assist with lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Sales Management: Drive revenue growth by implementing performance strategies and exceeding targets.
• Problem-Solving: Address operational challenges and resolve customer concerns.
