Insomnia Cookies - Opening Manager in Omaha, NE

Insomnia Cookies is one of the country's fastest-growing late-night, sweet indulgence companies. We are opening our second location in Omaha, NE this summer! Located at 3863 Farnam St Omaha, NE 68131, we are seeking hospitality-focused individuals to lead the opening of our newest store. Responsibilities as a Manager-in-Training (MIT):

• Perform as Manager-on-Duty during scheduled shifts when the Store Operations Manager (GM) is not present
• Supervise, train, and coach 2-5 team members engaged in cookie sales and customer deliveries
• Lead onboarding and training of new hourly staff
• Conduct initial interviews for potential new hires in the absence of the manager
• Assist the Store Operations Manager with ordering, inventory, and scheduling
• Ensure staff adherence to company standards (baking, uniform, policies, etc.)
• Promote upselling and ensure excellent customer service

Desired Skills & Experience:

• At least 1 year of supervisory experience in a restaurant or retail environment
• Experience conducting in-person interviews for hourly staff
• Experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems
• Proficiency with MS Office, Word, and Applicant Tracking Systems
• Availability to work 4-5 days per week, including 1-2 mid-to-late shifts (Thursday-Sunday)
• Must be 18 or older and legally eligible to work in the U.S.
