Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. is seeking a Store Manager in California (Vacaville) to lead a multi-million-dollar store operation with a focus on sales growth, staffing, and excellent customer service.

You will mentor and coach a team, partner across departments, and ensure consistent execution of company standards to deliver a world-class shopping experience. The role requires 5+ years in retail management, flexibility, and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Retail Management experience in a Big Box or Specialty environment
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, nights, weekends and holidays
• Ability to lift and move boxes up to 40 lbs
• Experience utilizing scheduling and reporting computer software
• Travel may be required from time to time

Responsibilities

• Direct management and oversight of Assistant Managers, Supervisors, and Store Associates to ensure policies and initiatives are implemented
• Partner with store leadership to coordinate merchandise placement, promotions and pricing
• Review receiving, transfers, debits/damages, RTVs and paperwork to ensure inventory accuracy
• Act as Manager on Duty; lead by example and model Burlington SOPs
• Manage multi-million-dollar sales volume and expense budget, including reporting and record-keeping
• Recruit, screen and hire associates to meet staffing needs
• Facilitate onboarding and training, provide coaching and structured development
• Handle personnel and associate relations issues
• Payroll budget management, workforce management and scheduling
• Foster effective communication with district and regional management and partners
