Responsibilities

• Maintain outgoing and enthusiastic rapport with store customers and provide excellent service.
• Lead and complete the Management Training Program.
• Hire and train an Assistant Manager with District Manager guidance.
• Assist in employing and training store personnel with District Manager approval.
• Coordinate with District Manager or Regional VP on operational problems or opportunities.
• Maintain inventory shrinkage within targeted levels and monitor Shrink Check Test scores.
• Enforce safety policies and maintain good relations with area law enforcement.
• Oversee weekly scheduling and payroll budgeting with Assistant Manager.
• Direct duties, train employees, and ensure adherence to company policies.
• Communicate payroll information accurately and timely.
• Ensure well-balanced inventory and timely seasonal distribution.
• Maintain cleanliness and organized displays and stock rooms.
• Manage store operating hours per corporate direction.
• Report overages/shortages per policy and handle refunds/exchanges per policy.
