Job summary

OXXO USA is seeking an energetic Store Manager with Food Service to lead a Subway-in-store operation. You will oversee the preparation, quality, and presentation of Subway products while guiding a team to deliver friendly, fast service in a convenience environment.

The role requires strong leadership, inventory control, and adherence to food safety regulations. You’ll balance customer satisfaction with profitability, schedule staff, and train teammates to uphold Subway and OXXO standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in a food service or retail food environment.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and valid vehicle insurance.
• Previous leadership experience (preferred).
• Basic skills of Excel, Office, Outlook and Document Drafting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a food service location featuring in-store preparation and cooking of Subway products, ensuring freshness and consistency throughout the day.
• Uphold Subway’s food craftsmanship, ensuring items are freshly made, properly handled, and served with care.
• Monitor and manage food prep areas, maintaining cleanliness, organization, and adherence to food safety regulations.
• Recruit, train, and mentor employees with emphasis on high-quality food service, Subway preparation methods, and customer engagement.
• Maximize store profitability through inventory control, food waste management, and labor optimization while achieving KPIs.
• Create a welcoming store environment by maintaining clean and inviting dining and food service areas, reinforcing brand standards.
• Foster a team culture focused on reliability, attention to detail, and customer satisfaction.
• Manage employee schedules, ensuring appropriate staffing during peak hours, and lead by example during busy periods.
• Ensure compliance with local health regulations and Subway’s food handling guidelines, including freshness standards and temperature control.
• Serve as the primary contact for customer feedback, product inquiries, and food service quality issues.
