Job summary

Steve Madden Retail is seeking a Store Manager in New York to oversee all staff, operations, and store presentation. This role drives customer satisfaction, sales growth, and profitability through strong leadership and coaching of the team.

You will recruit and develop staff, supervise day-to-day operations, and ensure compliance with loss prevention and safety policies. The position requires flexibility in scheduling and a focus on high standards of merchandising and customer service.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4-6 years of retail experience, including staff supervision.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to coordinate people, resources, and services to address business goals and needs.

• Process information or merchandise through the computer system and POS register system.
• Be flexible and occasionally perform work outside your specific role.

Store Manager (F/T)

The Store Manager is responsible for overseeing all staff and operations as well as maintaining the overall presentation of the store.
