Job summary

Trek Store Robinson is seeking a Store Manager to lead daily operations, drive sales, and set the standard for customer experiences. You will mentor a team, manage budgets, and ensure exceptional service in a fast-paced retail environment.

You’ll oversee merchandising, HR processes, scheduling, and performance coaching while delivering a best-in-class shopping experience for the community and Trek enthusiasts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year leading a team and coaching others.
• At least 2 years in a retail environment.
• Solid understanding of retail KPIs, budgets, and goals.
• Customer-focused with strong communication and service mindset.
• Passion for bikes and the Trek brand.

Responsibilities

• Drive store sales through leadership and exceptional hospitality.
• Lead budgeting, financial reviews, and team coaching processes.
• Oversee training, bi-weekly leadership meetings, and DRIs.
• Maintain merchandising, inventory, and store operations (QuickBooks exports).
• Hire, onboard, schedule, and develop the store team.

As Store Manager, a lot of responsibility will rest on your shoulders. You’ll lead the charge in every aspect of your store’s day-to-day operations and plans for future success, and you’ll be the one person ultimately accountable for setting the standard for best in the world customer experiences, top-notch employee performance, and budget-beating sales. Job Description

Financial Performance – 50%

• Drive sales by leading from the floor, providing incredible hospitality, and being one of the top two performing salespeople.
• Support financial goals through participating in the annual budgeting process, financial reviews, and team coaching.

Staff Performance – 25%

• Lead training across all key areas and validate through observation, role-play, and tools like Trek U.
• Host bi-weekly leadership meetings with your leadership team and directly responsible individuals (DRIs) to review performance and plan ahead.

Store Merchandising & Operations – 15%

• Maintain an organized, shopper-friendly store with strong merchandising and displays.
• Oversee store operations including inventory management, supply management, and QuickBooks exports.

Human Resources – 10%

• Manage hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and team development.
• Support all HR processes including discipline and team engagement.

What you’ll bring to the team

• Retail Know-How: You’ve got a solid handle on retail fundamentals—think KPIs, profit & loss statements, budgets—the numbers that keep a store thriving.
• Leadership Experience: You’ve led a team for at least a year and know how to coach, inspire, and bring out the best in people.
• Retail Roots: You’ve spent at least 2 years in the retail world.
• Operational Chops: From inventory and merchandising to payroll, scheduling, and customer service—you’ve done it all and can juggle these pieces like a pro.
• Love for Bikes: You believe bikes make the world better! Whether you’re a daily commuter, weekend warrior, or just love helping others discover cycling, you bring the fuel.
• Problem-Solving Skills: You’re quick on your feet and great at figuring things out—even when the path isn’t totally clear.
• Communication Game: You know how to keep it clear, real, and respectful—whether it’s over email, in a team huddle, or helping a customer find their perfect ride.
• Comfort with Change: Retail moves fast, and you’re cool with that. You’re flexible, resourceful, and ready to roll with whatever comes your way.

Compensation Structure:

• Base Salary: $65,000 -$70,000 annually
• Incentive Compensation: Earn additional rewards through performance-based incentives that recognize results
