Job summary

Jockey International Global Inc is seeking a Store Manager for our Philadelphia, PA location. You will lead daily store operations, drive sales, manage payroll costs, and coach a high-performing team to deliver exceptional customer service and merchandising standards.

You will recruit, train, and develop staff, build relationships with mall management, and ensure compliance with company policies while maintaining a focus on profitability and brand standards.

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of proven retail leadership experience.
• Strong selling experience with the proven ability to meet or exceed performance standards.
• Strong communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
• Proven experience in attracting, developing and retaining strong talent.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Flexibility with opening/closing shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
• Strong working knowledge of POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor consistent selling standards, effective communication and accountability to role expectations.
• Oversee daily operations including scheduling, budgeting, and sales performance.
• Ensure adherence to all operational and organizational standards including Visuals, inventory control, security, human resources, expenses and policy and procedure.
• Implement and manage the execution of marketing, sales, service and financial strategies.
• Communicate and review key performance metrics with team members to identify opportunities and development.
• Network and recruit to ensure open positions are hired timely with qualified candidates.
• Train and develop new associates; maintain appropriate staffing levels.
• Lead and inspire store team through coaching and performance management; develop staff for expanded roles.
• Establish and maintain relationships with mall management; attend meetings and coordinate mall events.
• Perform standard retail store operations including opening/closing, transactions, maintenance and inventory issues.
• Protect store assets and security of cash and inventory.
• Other job duties as assigned.

Jockey is seeking a dynamic Store Manager at our Philadelphia, PA location. As our Store Manager you will provide leadership and direction to your assigned store in the areas of key business metrics, sales and profitability, payroll cost control, merchandising, selling and customer service, recruiting, selecting, training, coaching and developing people.

JOB EXPECTATIONS

• Train and develop new associates; maintain appropriate staffing levels.
• Lead and inspire store team through effective coaching and performance management; develop key staff members for expanded roles in the organization.
• Establish and maintain relationships with mall management representatives; attend meetings and coordinate participation in relevant mall events.
• Perform standard retail store operations including opening/ closing the store, performing sales transactions, addressing any store maintenance and inventory concerns.
• Protect the overall security of the store cash, inventory and other company assets
• Other job duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

REQUIRED:

• High School degree or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of proven retail leadership experience
• Strong selling experience with the proven ability to meet or exceed performance standards.
• Strong communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
• Proven experience in attracting, developing and retaining strong talent.

• Strong working knowledge of POS systems.

PREFERRED:

• Advanced degree in Business or related field

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING ENVIRONMENT

• Ability to move a minimum of 25 pounds.
• Ability to effectively maneuver around the sales floor, and stockroom, repetitive bending, prolonged standing, twisting, stooping, squatting, and ascending/descending ladder to stock and merchandise store.
• Ability to work with/around cleaning chemicals.
