The Normal Brand is a fast-growing apparel company that sells clothing and accessories online and in over 500 stores in the US. Our brick-and-mortar store in Nashville is located at Fifth + Broadway, and we're looking for a hardworking, personable, goal-oriented Store Manager. The store offers a fun, clean, and enjoyable environment where customer experience is a top priority.

Responsibilities
  1. Inspire, develop, and lead the team to drive excellent customer experience and revenue.
  2. Manage revenue and payroll.
  3. Implement high customer service standards throughout the store and team.
  4. Create and maintain relationships with guests.
  5. Encourage suggestive selling to maximize revenue.
  6. Monitor inventory levels and communicate replenishment needs to HQ.
  7. Maintain a clean store and merchandise to Normal standards.
  8. Provide constructive feedback to District Manager on all aspects of the business.
  9. Mentor and develop team through clear communication.
  10. Make a staff schedule that meets business needs efficiently.
  11. Educate and train team members on product knowledge.
  12. Participate in weekly calls with peers and District Manager.
  13. Promote a respectful communication environment.
  14. Ensure store security.
Requirements
  1. 5+ years of retail apparel management experience.
  2. Eager to learn from feedback and solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
  3. Proficient in verbal and written communication with HQ and team.
  4. Self-motivated and independent.
  5. Goal-oriented, data-driven, and positive.
  6. Strong inventory management skills.
  7. Excellent time management and merchandising abilities.
  8. Approachable, friendly, and people-oriented.
  9. Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Drive.
  10. Ability to quickly adapt to new systems and processes.
  11. Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Multi-unit store management experience.
  2. 6+ years of retail management experience.
  3. Experience in the fashion/apparel industry.
  4. Proficiency with Shopify and Shopify POS.
  5. Strong integrity and excellent fashion sense.
  6. Self-awareness and experience as an apparel buyer.
