Key Responsibilities
- Store Leadership: Oversee daily operations across sales, service, and inventory management to ensure maximum profitability and operational efficiency.
- Team Management: Recruit, train, mentor, and schedule sales, parts, and service staff to foster a productive, customer‑first environment.
- Customer Experience: Set the standard for high‑quality customer service, handling elevated customer inquiries and building long‑term relationships with local contractors and residential clients.
- Inventory & Parts: Maintain optimal inventory levels, oversee parts department ordering, and work closely with OPE manufacturers and distributors.
- Financial Management: Manage store budgets, track daily/monthly KPIs, monitor P&L, and drive initiatives to increase overall revenue.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure full compliance with safety standards, store policies, and industry regulations.
Qualifications & Requirements
- OPE Experience (REQUIRED): Proven management or strong supervisory experience specifically within the Outdoor Power Equipment, power tools, lawn care equipment, or agricultural machinery industries.
- Business Systems (PLUS): Hands‑on experience with Ideal Business Systems (dealership management software) is highly preferred.
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop a cross‑functional team (Sales, Parts, Service).
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with a track record of excellent customer service.
- Operations & Inventory: Familiarity with inventory control, work order management, and basic financial metrics.
- Education: High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field is a plus.
