Job summary

Staples General Manager role seeks a collaborative leader to drive community engagement, customer service, and retail culture while overseeing merchandising, print and marketing services, and the B2B network.

You will develop a consultative sales environment, coach a team to deliver results, and manage operations with a focus on profitable growth and Staples values across the store.

Qualifications

• 1+ year progressively responsible store management experience in a retail environment as a General/Store Manager.
• Store operations experience with analysis, planning, financial acumen and driving results.
• Experience creating a customer centric environment and working in a consultative selling environment that provides customers a total solution.
• Experience developing a team in operational excellence to drive profitable YOY sales and margins.
• Ability to lift/move materials in the 10-50 pound range, climb ladders, stand and walk continuously.
