Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores is seeking a Store Manager in Training in Hyattsville, MD to lead a team and deliver exceptional customer service. You will recruit and hire associates, coach on operations and merchandising, and oversee daily store activities to ensure smooth execution.

The role emphasizes compliance with laws, safety, and high standards of customer service. A strong retail leadership background and ability to lift 30-50 lbs are required, with a quarterly bonus potential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years prior retail management experience is preferred.
• Experience with hardlines or variety merchandise; BIG BOX experience a plus is preferred.
• Strong productivity management in freight processing is required.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment is required.
• Must be able to lift 30 to 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation is required.
