Minimum Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in retail sales preferred.
• Experience to perform essential duties, responsibilities, and working conditions as described.
• Ability to supervise and train for the use of equipment, tools, and materials listed in the Customer Service Representative (CSR) and Assistant Site Manager (ASM) job description.
• Ability to supervise and manage functions listed in the CSR and ASM job description.
• Ability to use a computer and acquire necessary skills for site reporting, inventory control, cash control, and counseling notices.
• A valid driver’s license and adequate transportation to bank and corporate management meetings.
• Ability to communicate orally and in writing in English.
• Perform other duties as assigned or delegated by supervisor.

Essential Duties, Responsibilities and Skills

Leadership and Management

• Recruit, hire, and train enthusiastic employees, ensuring excellent customer service.
• Develop, manage, and assign tasks to ensure the site is clean, adequately stocked, and well organized.
• Maintain a professional and supportive image among subordinates and supervisors.
• Schedule employees within company guidelines to maximize customer service and maintain site image.
• Implement non-discriminatory management skills while hiring, training, counseling, motivating, and separating employees.

Site Relationships

• Develop positive and professional relationships with all suppliers.
• Promote excellent service and resolve customer complaints in a timely, professional manner.
• Promote and ensure a safe, positive public image within the neighboring community.

Training and Development

• Prepare ongoing and timely performance appraisals in writing for all employees, providing proper feedback.
• Train all employees to meet company standards for customer service, site image, and marketing execution.
• Train all employees on safety procedures and promote safety awareness.

Communication

• Develop efficient methods to ensure all employees receive timely communication.
• Establish periodic communication meetings with all site employees and the Market Manager.

Organizing and Planning

• Evaluate and develop specific action plans to meet site needs and achieve objectives.
• Organize and maintain site files and manuals.
• Supervise employees to ensure accurate and timely completion of required reports.
• Ensure merchandise is stocked, displayed, and priced correctly.
• Maintain all required employment-related posters and signs in accessible locations.

Financial

• Analyze daily sales and expense information to maximize sales and net profits.
• Budget and forecast profit and loss lines, and manage merchandise margins.
• Safeguard and account for all money received and disbursed.
• Perform additional financial analysis to maximize sales and profits.

Working Conditions

• Primarily indoor work with occasional outdoor tasks such as cleaning parking lots, gas pumps, and waste removal.
• Exposure to occasional cold temperatures while supervising in a walk-in cooler or freezer.
• Exposure to occasional noise.
• Work with minimal direction and supervision.
• Act as an effective manager, supervisor, and leader at all times.
