Job summary

Garage is seeking a Store Manager in Albany, NY to lead a high-performing team and promote a positive shopping experience. You will drive sales, training, and coaching to maximize profitability and store standards.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of fashion retail management experience, customer focus, and strong organizational skills. Flexible scheduling including evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma; post-secondary education in business or related discipline, an asset
• 3-5 years of management experience, preferably in a fashion clothing environment, or equivalent management experience
• Has passion for fashion & is customer-oriented
• Demonstrates solving skills and decision making abilities
• Demonstrate the ability to promote an environment that encourages participation, creativity and learning by sharing best practices and building on the ideas of others
• Demonstrate flexibility, innovation and sense of urgency in identifying and reacting to the changing business environment by contributing impactful ideas and solutions

The Role:

Reporting to the District Manager your main focus as Store Manager is to promote a positive shopping experience and build loyal customer relationships. You produce outstanding business results by leading and inspiring a high performing team to drive operational efficiency and excellent standards. You demonstrate great leadership through recruiting, training, and coaching your team members. You maximize the store’s profitability by achieving and surpassing sales and productivity targets.
