Smoothie King is seeking a Store Manager in Charlotte, NC to lead daily operations, build a motivated team, and deliver an exceptional guest experience. You will drive performance using P&L awareness, scheduling, inventory controls, and brand standards to support our mission of helping people live healthy lives.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, 2+ years in a store or restaurant leadership role, and proficiency with Word and Excel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; an associate or bachelor’s degree in business, hospitality management, or a similar field preferred.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a store manager or supervisor in a restaurant or retail customer service environment.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and customer focus.
• Ability to lead, motivate and drive operational excellence while upholding brand standards.

Responsibilities

• Hire, develop, and lead the store team to deliver an outstanding guest experience.
• Utilize P&L, scheduling, inventory management, and data tools to achieve operational excellence.
• Maintain supplier relationships and manage inventory/shipment processes.
• Monitor KPIs and store conditions to identify and act on opportunities for improvement.
• Handle cash activities and ensure food safety compliance at all times.
• Promote brand standards and ensure clean, visually appealing store presentation.

As a Store Manager, you will play a key role in contributing to Smoothie King's continued success. Responsibilities of a Store Manager:

• Enthusiastically hire, develop, and lead the team at your store to provide a great guest experience and fulfill our mission to inspire people to live a healthy and active lifestyle.
• Use operational tools such as Profit and Loss Statements, Daily Business Reviews, Cash and Deposit Logs, and Data Central scheduling and inventory management tools to achieve operational excellence.
• Maintain relationships with suppliers (inventory management, shipments, etc.).
• Review store environment and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to identify problems, concerns, and opportunities for improvement and adjust accordingly.
• Manage cash activities for the store (daily deposits, etc.).
• Ensure compliance with food safety guidelines in your store at all times; ensure all Team Members comply as well.
• Own and promote brand standards in alignment with company vision.
• Ensure store appearance and cleanliness are upheld and consistent with Smoothie King brand standards.
• Drive implementation of company programs through action planning and inspiring team to meet operational standards.
• Develop local store marketing plans to support brand initiatives, including initiating community outreach through marketing and special events.
• Recognize and reinforce individual and team accomplishments by using existing tools and programs as well as finding new, creative and effective methods of recognition.

What are we looking for in a Store Manager?

• High school diploma required. An associate or bachelor’s degree in business, hospitality management, or a similar field is preferred.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a store manager or supervisor of a team in a restaurant or similar type of retail customer service business.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills - you are energized by working with people.
