GENERAL FUNCTION:

Pearle Vision in Buffalo Grove is looking to join our team of professionals. The major responsibility of the Store Manager is to drive profitable sales growth through the delivery of an outstanding patient experience. Lead the team in a positive and productive environment, modeling exemplary patient care. Develop and maintain outstanding associate and doctor satisfaction and retention.

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Drive profitable store sales by fostering a patient-focused retail culture.
  • Attain sales goals and promote store sales growth.
  • Ensure positive contribution to store performance (year-on-year improvement).
  • Manage payroll costs effectively, in accordance with company standards.
  • Manage gross margin in accordance with company standards.
  • Train and develop associates to provide a patient care-focused experience.
  • Develop a team of administratively skilled associates to support daily operations.
  • Build strong professional relationships with Doctors.
  • Ensure appropriate coverage and quality of Doctor hours.
  • Implement initiatives to increase exams and convert exams to sales.
  • Participate in business planning and updates.
  • Recruit, train, develop, and retain high-performing associates, ensuring effective onboarding and employee satisfaction.
  • Maintain store standards in merchandising, presentation, cleanliness, and safety.
  • Ensure high-quality customer follow-up, accurate measurements, correct pricing, and timely service delivery.
  • Maximize Managed Vision Care relationships and sales opportunities.
  • Implement marketing programs and execute signage and promotions.
  • Ensure operational procedures are followed, including safety and maintenance standards.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
  • Proven sales growth through accountability and sales skills.
  • Ability to train, coach, and develop staff focused on patient care and results.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience in retail or customer service environments.
  • Ability to develop creative solutions and manage priorities.
  • Attention to detail, follow-up, and multi-tasking abilities.
  • Computer skills preferred.
EDUCATION:

Bachelor's degree or comparable experience in retail operations.
