Job summary

Wegmans in Pennsylvania is hiring for a store maintenance team member responsible for cleaning, upkeep and safety across the store to ensure an excellent shopping experience for customers and a safe work environment for colleagues.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferably in a food service, restaurant, grocery or retail setting.
• Custodial/janitorial experience.
• The physical demands of this work are classified as medium, including walking and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Promptly respond to maintenance calls and attend to spills, breaks or other accidents.
• Keep the store clean, in pristine condition and work to prevent potential dangers.
• Assist customers by getting answers to questions they may have.
