Whole Foods Market is seeking a Maintenance Team Member in Florida to uphold cleanliness and safety across floor, seating areas, restrooms, and back offices. You will support all teams, perform routine tasks, and participate in repairs while maintaining a positive store image through courteous service.

The role requires flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays, with physical ability to lift 50 pounds and operate in a fast-paced environment. Training and safety awareness are emphasized.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• 8-hour work day; stand/walk 6-8 hours.
• Exposure to cleaning chemicals and cold environments.
• Able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Willingness to perform varied maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provides excellent maintenance service.
• Performs all duties on the daily and weekly maintenance lists.
• Supports all teams with cleaning projects.
• Performs minor repairs and improvements.
• Participates in ordering supplies required for store maintenance.
• Helps with cleaning emergencies.
• Helps maintain the store’s landscaping and parking lot.
• Performs continual cleaning of all store departments.
• Arrives to work station on time, groomed and ready to work.
• Reports safety hazards and violations.
• Performs other duties as assigned by leadership.
