Job summary

Jared Jewelers is seeking a Maintenance/Porter to keep our store clean, safe and welcoming for customers. The role focuses on general maintenance, floor care, glass upkeep and outside appearance to ensure a first-rate shopping environment.

The position requires a HS diploma or GED, a positive team attitude, and the physical ability to lift at least 50 lbs and operate basic tools. Maintenance tasks include cleaning, snow/ice removal, and supervising vendor work as needed.

Responsibilities

• Performs all general maintenance, inside and outside the store.
• Maintains the sales floor appearance by cleaning spills and debris.
• Cleans and maintains public restrooms on a set schedule.
• Maintains exterior appearance and trash containers; clears snow/ice from entrance.
• Monitors maintenance performed by contracted vendors; follows company guidelines.
