Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; six months supervisory experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and oral communication skills.
• Ability to read and follow planograms and merchandise presentation guides.
• Ability to perform arithmetic operations including percentages.
• Ability to operate a cash register and related duties.
• Knowledge of cash handling and deposit procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service leadership; greet and assist customers.
• Operate cash register and scanner to itemize and total purchases, collect payment, bag merchandise.
• Stock merchandise and rotate displays; build merchandise displays.
• Clean the store and assist with shop-floor upkeep.
• Assist in planogram implementation and maintenance.
• Open and close the store under store management guidance.
• Perform duties of Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager in their absence.
