Job summary

Claire’s is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Michigan to drive sales and deliver exceptional customer experiences. You’ll lead a team, upsell products, and partner with the Store Manager to coach staff while implementing promotions.

Responsibilities include coaching the team, managing inventory, and maintaining an engaging, trend-aware storefront. Piercing services training is provided to ensure expert customer guidance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of one year retail management experience.
• At least one year of overall retail experience.
• Able to stand for shifts and lift 11–35 kg (25–75 lbs).
• Willing to become a trained piercing specialist.

Responsibilities

• Lead store sales by delivering excellent customer experiences and upselling.
• Build customer relationships with personalized styling advice and add-ons.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and store presentation for foot traffic.
• Ensure smooth transactions and efficient operations with POS.
• Train and motivate team members to achieve sales goals.
• Represent the brand with enthusiasm and fashion trend knowledge.
