Dollar Tree is seeking a Store Manager in Training to develop leadership and deliver exceptional customer service while creating a welcoming environment for customers and associates. You’ll participate in on-the-job training to learn profitable store operations, merchandising, and display techniques to maintain inviting surroundings and drive performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years retail management experience preferred.
• Experience with hardlines or variety merchandise; BIG BOX experience a plus is preferred.
• Strong productivity management in freight processing required.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment required.
• Physical ability to lift 30–50 lbs and frequent moving, standing, kneeling, and climbing with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and hire store associates.
• Coach and develop associates through training on operations and merchandising.
• Oversee daily store activities to ensure smooth operations.
• Ensure compliance with laws and company policies.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Implement corporate merchandising and operational direction.
• Help maximize store profit contributions and protect assets.
• Maintain high levels of customer service and a positive, respectful environment.
