Job summary

Catalyst Brands is seeking a Store Manager for the Nautica brand in our Maryland portfolio. You will build a high-performing team, drive sales, and deliver an exceptional customer experience while controlling costs and store standards.

You will recruit and train associates, schedule to peak times, and lead floor sets and merchandising. The role requires proven leadership, strong communication, and a passion for retail. Eligible for a Management Incentive Plan and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 2+ years as Store Manager in similar volume environment.
• Proven track record of exceeding sales and statistical expectations.
• Flexible availability to meet business needs (including evenings and weekends).
• May require occasional travel to other store locations and attend district meetings.

Responsibilities

• Use data and market knowledge to create action plans to achieve financial, customer-service and operational goals.
• Demonstrate product knowledge, selling and operational skills to maximize sales.
• Engage with customers to build relationships and brand loyalty using company tools.
• Attract, develop, and retain top talent individuals.
• Motivate and engage your teams by identifying their strengths.
• Provide and receive feedback to improve performance and develop team members.
• Communicate clear expectations and hold the store team and yourself accountable to results.
• Ensure store standards for merchandising and operations are met consistently.
• Oversee controllable expenses such as payroll and training to increase profitability.
• Establish trust with the team in the face of differing beliefs or perspectives.

• Provide leadership with floor sets and visual merchandising expectations.
• Perform POS transactions and manage duties in the absence of the Assistant Manager.
• Schedule employees to match strengths to maximize productivity.
