Job summary

A leading retail company in Mankato, Minnesota is looking for an Assistant Store Manager. The role involves maintaining guest services, supporting the Store Manager, and managing merchandising and inventory. Candidates must be at least 18 years old, and prior retail or management experience is required. Qualifications

• Prior retail and/or management experience is required.
• This position will work up to 38 hours per week.
• The minimum age requirement for an Assistant Store Manager is 18.
• The physical demands of the job require in excess of 8 hours of standing, walking, climbing ladders and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Establishing and maintaining Guest Services.
• Support the Store Manager in the various tasks involved in the overall operation of a store.
• Ensure maximum sales and profitability by developing staff, controlling expenses and shrinkage.
• Oversee all aspects of merchandising and inventory control in adherence with company policies and procedures.
