Job summary

Circle K in West Mifflin, PA is hiring for a full‑time Store Associate. You will supervise shifts, assist with scheduling, and ensure excellent customer service at the point of sale. The role includes maintaining cash controls and merchandising standards, with duties spanning inventory, pricing, and daily reporting.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 6 months to 1 year of retail/management experience. Day and evening shifts are available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus 6 months to 1 year of retail and management work experience preferred.
• Knowledge of basic business and customer service principles including planning and organizing, resource management and leadership skills.
• Ability to communicate information and ideas in a clear and understandable manner.
• Ability to work as scheduled including arriving to work on time.
• Ability to operate cash registers or scanners and other equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provides and coaches store staff to provide excellent customer service in a courteous, friendly and attentive manner.
• Rings up all sales on cash register properly and accurately, handling money, checks, and other types of payment.
• Monitors and ensures product areas are stocked, rotated and displayed for freshness and accessibility.
• Ensures all shift sales are completed in accordance with Company policies by entering transactions at purchase time.
• Keeps accurate cash, sales, payroll and inventory control records and accounts for variances.
• Oversees activities of store employees and assists with scheduling and performance feedback.
