Job summary

Dollar General Corporation is seeking an energetic Cashier/Stocker to support store operations in Grovetown, GA. You will assist in maintaining plan-o-grams, stock merchandise, and provide excellent customer service while protecting assets.

In the absence of management, you may authorize refunds, supervise cashier activities, and help ensure security and cash controls. Prior supervisory exposure is a plus, and you will engage in a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; six months supervisory experience preferred.
• Proficient in basic math and cash handling procedures.
• Able to read plan-ogram guidance and merchandise presentation rules.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and unpack cartons/totes per store process.
• Stock, rotate, and display merchandise; restock returns.
• Operate cash register; collect payment and make change.
• Greet customers and provide exceptional service; assist locating items.
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety; manage end-of-day procedures.
