Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a Lead Sales Associate in DeRidder, LA. You will support store operations, assist customers, manage cash register transactions, stock shelves, and help run displays. This role acts as a lead in the absence of store management.

You will maintain a clean, organized store, ensure planogram compliance, and safeguard company assets while maximizing profitability and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; six months supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Able to perform basic math and cash handling.
• Ability to read planograms and merchandise presentation guides.
• Willing to drive to the bank to deposit money.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service and greet customers.
• Operate cash register; total purchases, collect payment, bag merchandise.
• Stock, restock, and rotate merchandise; set up merchandise displays.
• Maintain store cleanliness and assist with sidewalk displays.
• Follow planograms and store processes; open/close procedures as directed.
• Perform additional duties of store management in their absence.
