Job summary

FirstCash in Tempe, AZ is seeking an Assistant Store Manager with a minimum of six months of management experience. You will partner with the Store Manager to lead store employees, recruit, and retain top talent while driving customer satisfaction and financial goals.

The role offers hourly pay plus commission and a performance bonus. Responsibilities include training, cash handling, asset protection, and daily store operations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to effectively supervise others.
• Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Must be willing and able to work a flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Assistant Store Managers will work 40+ hours a week.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate a customer-centric environment by engaging customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Monitor and assist in the training of Pawnbrokers so their development meets FirstCash standards.
• Recruit top talent by sourcing candidates through company-prescribed channels.
• Opens and closes the store, including counting cash drawers and merchandise, and ensuring all procedures are followed to protect assets.
• Administer processes within the store including inventory, loan management, merchandising, store systems, and reporting.
• Evaluate store financial statements and drive profitability through communication and goal setting.
• Ensure operating standards meet FirstCash standards.
• Monitor loan qualification and buying processes to ensure value and integrity of loans issued.
