Job summary

Charter Communications is seeking a Store Lead to guide customers through Spectrum products and services, mentor store specialists and drive sales performance in our Plattsburgh location.

You'll energize the team, ensure a seamless checkout, manage inventory and cash handling, and provide solutions tailored to customer needs with deep knowledge of Spectrum offerings. This role requires strong communication and a service-driven mindset.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of sales experience.
• 1-2 years of customer service experience.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Basic math proficiency.
• Ability to work scheduled shift hours and overtime as needed.
• Stand for prolonged periods and lift up to 35lbs.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with employees, customers and suppliers in person, by phone and in writing.
• Demonstrate self-motivation and a competitive drive to exceed sales goals.
• Carry a positive and professional demeanor.
• Pay attention to detail and solve problems effectively.
• Use computers and software applications.
• Manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities

• Guide customers through Spectrum products and services to ensure a seamless experience from welcome to checkout.
• Apply sales strategies to identify opportunities and achieve sales goals.
• Educate customers and provide solutions tailored to their needs with comprehensive knowledge of Spectrum offerings.
• Support store leadership and team members by assisting with inventory control, cash management and handling escalations.
• Mentor Store Specialists by sharing sales expectations, tools and resources.
• Maintain store appearance according to planogram directives and accurately process payment transactions.
• Provide constructive feedback to store leadership regarding sales opportunities and operations.

A qualified applicant's criminal history, if any, will be considered in a manner consistent with applicable laws, including local ordinances.

The base pay for this position generally is between $18.00 and $27.70. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.

In addition, this position has a commission earnings target starting at $9,360.
