Job summary

Boot Barn is seeking a Retail Inventory Control Specialist (RICS) to manage all inventory activity, ensuring shelves are stocked, and stock room is organized for smooth replenishment. You will safeguard accuracy and support store sales goals while upholding company standards and loss prevention guidelines.

You will collaborate with the sales team, process freight and RTVs, and coach associates on procedures that impact the customer experience.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, customer service, time management and organizational skills.
• Availability to work a variety of shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Flexible and willing to extend hours when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Foster a service and selling culture and build customer relationships.
• Process all incoming and outbound inventory with accuracy.
• Verify deliveries are compliant and accurate to company standards.
• Prepare merchandise for the selling floor and follow ticketing guidelines.
• Place EAS tags on merchandise before moving to the sales floor.
• Input freight information accurately into systems.
• Execute RTVs, transfers, re-tickets or markdowns per policy.
• Educate and coach sales team on inventory control processes.
• Maintain productivity and achieve units per hour targets.
• Keep stock room organized and compliant with guidelines.
• Adhere to local, state, federal laws and company policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
• Demonstrate professionalism in communication and teamwork.
