Job description

Responsibilities

• The Project Administrator is responsible for coordinating the development of floor plans, placing fixture orders, producing merchandising supplies orders, and calculating SKU capacity in project stores, working with the Vice President and Director of Store Installations.
• Maintain store layout files to reflect current fixture locations for all stores and update layouts as needed.
• Place orders and manage follow up for merchandising supplies and equipment for all store projects.
• Maintain a system for comparison of new store inventories and running feet of fixtures required per floor plan.
• Gather information on new and existing buildings and building additions and develop a floor plan with front room and back room locations.
• Place fixture orders for projects directly with fixture suppliers for store fixtures.
• Ensure that the Installation field teams have the necessary items to complete projects and strive to improve efficiency of processes.
• Adapt to changes in job functions and track projects with accurate data.
• Carry out any other projects as needed and directed by department management and perform all other duties as assigned.

Skills / Education / Knowledge / Experience / Abilities

• Required:
  • High School diploma
  • 1–2 years retail store experience (preferred)
  • Organizational and time management skills
  • Typing, computer knowledge, basic knowledge of Excel
  • Experience using AutoCAD (lite) with the ability to demonstrate proper CAD techniques in developing drawings
• Desired:
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions
  • Ability to multi-task projects across past, present, and future
  • Detail oriented with the ability to work at a fast pace
