Job summary

FashionUnited is seeking a General Manager in Enfield, CT to lead store operations and achieve a profitable business plan. You will drive sales, manage the P&L, and coach a high-performing team to deliver a best-in-class customer experience.

You will forecast, schedule, and optimize staffing, ops processes, and merchandising while ensuring compliance. This role requires leadership, adaptability, and a strong business acumen.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of retail experience leading others.
• College degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Proven ability to deliver results.
• Strong communication with customers and employees.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and move around store, stock room, and office.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays; travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Analyze results, identify opportunities and drive KPIs with leadership.
• Forecast and schedule to drive profitable sales.
• Manage store budget for daily operations in support of the P&L.
• Build productive teams through sourcing, selecting and developing people.
• Coach and provide feedback to team performance.
• Teach and train to build capabilities.
• Lead implementation and execution of SOPs and initiatives.
• Create an inclusive environment.
• Maximize efficiencies and productivity through action plans.
• Perform Service Leader duties.
• Represent the brand and understand competitors.
• Promote community involvement.
• Leverage OMNI to deliver a frictionless customer experience.
• Ensure compliance standards are met.
