Meijer offers an 11-week Store Support Internship designed for college students pursuing a degree in Management or Operations. You will lead a project centered on improving the customer or Team Member experience and participate in development opportunities with senior leaders.

Interns gain exposure to Store Operations, Store Support Training, and Store Fulfillment while delivering final presentations to executives and enjoying networking events.

Qualifikationen

• Progress toward a Bachelor's degree in Management, Operations, or related field.
• Prior experience in Retail or customer service strongly preferred.
• Past leadership responsibilities in work or extracurricular activities preferred.
• Passion for Retail or Customer Service and a desire to enter a career supporting retail stores.
• Digital mindset - experience with digital devices, applications, and analytics to access and manage information.
• Relationship skills - can create positive working relationships with team members, leadership, and other constituencies.
• Communication skills - conveys the right information in writing and verbally.

Internship Program Overview

Meijer offers an 11-week internship program that challenges interns to deliver innovative solutions to real projects that impact the business. Throughout the course of the internship experience, we deliver diverse personal and professional development opportunities that further develop skillsets that can be implemented both during and after the program. What you will be doing as a Store Support Intern

The Meijer Store Support Internship Program will provide college students with a well-rounded retail educational experience providing an opportunity for an Intern to lead a project impacting the customer or Team Member experience. At the end of the Store Support Internship Program students will be able to:

• Develop competencies in key areas of research, leadership and presentation skills
• Have a clear and concise understanding of store support operations

The intern may also get exposure to other activities of the function, including:

• Store Operations
• Store Support Training
• Store Fulfillment
