Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. is seeking a store associate for the Westlake, OH location. You will maintain the store’s cleanliness and appearance, assist customers, and handle checkout responsibilities with cash handling and rewards enrollment.

You will also support omnichannel processes like BOPIS and Ship from Store, participate in safety and shrink programs, and ensure adherence to SOPs and company policies. The role requires flexibility for nights, weekends, and early mornings.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or cleaning experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of store appearance and cleanliness in line with Brand Promises.
• Provide friendly customer service and help customers find what they need.
• Perform cleaning duties including trash disposal, dusting, mopping, and restocking.
• Operate checkout with cash handling and promote Rewards program.
• Assist with Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship from Store (SFS).
• Support safety and shrink programs; follow SOPs and company policies.
