Job summary

Circle K—Saint Paul, MN seeks a Maintenance Technician to uphold store facilities and equipment. Responsibilities include light electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and preventive maintenance, plus basic repairs and vendor coordination.

You will work in a fast-paced retail environment, lift up to 80 lbs, drive a company vehicle to nearby locations, and participate in training for new equipment to ensure reliable operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must have the manual dexterity to operate equipment, work in confined spaces, use hand/electric tools, crouch/crawl, climb ladders, and lift up to 80 lbs.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and work independently.
• 3-5 years experience in the A/C, Refrigeration or General Maintenance field.
• Requires driving a company vehicle to different store locations throughout the division.

Responsibilities

• Maintains facilities by performing light electrical, plumbing and carpentry.
• Provides general maintenance support to sites by painting, building/repairing structures, interiors, shelving, cabinets, etc.
• Maintains store equipment by troubleshooting, repairing, cleaning, and preventive maintenance.
• Facilitates repairs by contacting service vendors for materials.
• Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities and needs.
• Will be required to participate in training for existing and new equipment.
• Other duties as assigned or deemed necessary.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
