Job summary

Michaels is seeking a Store Environment Team Member in Middletown, OH for a part-time role. You will help maintain store cleanliness, assist customers, and support store operations including checkout, rewards enrollments, and omnichannel processes.

The position requires physical work, standing for long periods, and ability to lift heavy items. 16+ years old and prior retail/cleaning experience are preferred. The base pay range is $12.00–$13.80 per hour, with potential overtime where allowed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly customer service and help customers shop.
• Collect and dispose of trash following approved procedures.
• Dust and damp mop floors per procedures.
• Move equipment and products for cleaning and return to placement.
• Deep clean high-traffic areas including bathrooms and breakrooms.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and notify supply needs.
• Take initiative to identify areas needing cleaning.
• Perform tasks as assigned by supervisor and follow SOPs.
• Operate checkout with cash handling to standards.
• Enroll customers in Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards.
• Assist with Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship from Store.
• Aid truck unloading, stocking, and planogram processes.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
