Advance Auto Parts Inc. in Kentwood, MI seeks a Delivery Driver to pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers and support store operations. You will stock, assist customers, and manage returns while maintaining a clean, organized environment.

Valid driver's license required; strong communication, safety awareness, and willingness to learn are essential for success in this fast-paced retail role.

Responsabilités

  • Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers
  • Pick up returns and cores
  • Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs
  • Daily collection of credit accounts
  • Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing CPP insights learned while making deliveries
  • Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value
  • Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot
  • General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts
  • Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales
  • Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Ability to locate and stock parts
  • Safety knowledge and skills
  • Operating inventory systems (Back stock) and store equipment
  • Sales aptitude and customer service orientation
  • Ability to identify customer needs and recommend solutions
  • Speak and write English (Spanish a plus)
  • Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs and procedure manuals
  • Use basic math accurately: add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
  • Ability to work an assortment of days, evenings and weekends as needed
  • Confidence in engaging customers and promoting products
  • Willing to learn about new products and sales techniques
  • Automotive parts experience is preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
  • The physical demands include lifting up to 100 pounds and working in varied environments
