Advance Auto Parts in Essex Junction, VT is seeking a delivery driver to pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers, while picking up returns and cores and distributing sales flyers. You’ll build relationships with customers, upsell where appropriate, and help maintain store cleanliness and inventory accuracy throughout shifts.

The role requires safe driving, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks, including stock, credit accounts and basic inventory systems.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50–100 pounds with assistance when needed.
• Read and interpret safety rules, catalogs and manuals.
• Responsible for accurate daily delivery tasks and customer communications.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores and manage related paperwork.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts and improve collection efficiency.
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers; provide insights from deliveries.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness, stocking, and general housekeeping.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand needs and recommend parts or services.
• Operate general store functions and assist with cycle counts.
• Other duties as assigned.
