Advance Auto Parts is seeking a dedicated delivery driver to service pro customers in Syracuse, NY. You will pick, stage, and safely deliver parts, handle returns, promote current sales and loyalty programs, and collect credit accounts daily.
You will build strong relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers, upsell and cross-sell products, maintain store cleanliness, stock inventory, and engage with walk-in customers to recommend parts or services.
Speak and write English (Spanish a plus); communicate effectively and build strong relationships with customers, peers and leadership Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs and procedure manuals Use basic math accurately: add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals Ability to work an assortment of days, evenings and weekends as needed Confidence in engaging customers and promoting products Willing to learn about new products and sales techniques Prior Experience that Sets a Driver up for Success Automotive parts experience is preferred
High school diploma or equivalent.
Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

The good faith estimate for this role is between 16.40 USD and 17.75 USD per hour for a new team member. The rate offered depends on a number of factors, including geographic location, experience in retail, automotive knowledge, education, leadership roles, and other skillsets ideal for this position and shift differential (if applicable).
