Job summary

Meijer in Auburn Hills, MI is seeking a Store Director for the North Detroit Market to lead multiple locations and drive exceptional customer service and store performance. You will be responsible for delivering the best possible shopping experience while guiding a team through staffing, training, and operational excellence.

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent retail experience, 5 years in retail or service, and at least 3 years of leadership experience including

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent retail experience required.
• 5 years of retail/service industry experience preferred.
• 3 years of leadership experience including management of leaders with direct reports.
• 3+ years of retail leadership with General Merchandise and Grocery/Fresh experience preferred.
• Experience leading retail/service operation with $40 million minimum in annual sales revenue.

Responsibilities

• Use your retail leadership and service expertise to drive store success and customer satisfaction.
• Provide excellent customer service throughout store operations.
• Mentor and coach all team members and leaders to meet and exceed goals.
• Ensure proper staffing with well-trained team members and develop current staff.
• Maintain corporate, safety, and regulatory procedures for a safe, stable work environment.
• Cultivate relationships in the local community to support the Meijer brand.
